Synopsis:

NAICS Code: 334516 The U.S. EPA, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with TSI Inc., Shoreview, MN, for a fast engine analyzer and calibration system. The EPA, ORD, NHEERL, RTP, NC requires a system which measures in real time, determines transient changes in size or concentration,has seamless integration of the operating, visualization and reporting software which is compatible with its current sizing instrumentation software, and is built in display that would allow operation at the unit as well as with a PC interface. EPA's extensive market research indicates that only TSI can provide a system which meets these requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. However, any firm believing that it can provide a system which meets this EPA requirement may submit technical documentation to establish its assertion. This documentation must be submitted to the POC within 15 days of the electronic posting of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the EPA. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed on a sole source basis. This acquisition is being processed under FAR Part 13.
