Synopsis:

This synopsis is for Replacement of Water Mains and Valves, Phases B-G, FTEV 99-1015. This project includes six separate projects to replace the existing transite water mains with new PVC water mains that meet current standards for water distribution systems. The water main replacements include installation of new valves, fittings, fire hydrants, and water sampling stations. The projects are designed as individual stand-alone phases with optional provisions for tie-ins to other phases or water systems. The work is located primarily along Tully Street, Cody Avenue, Simpson Avenue, McClean Street, Bennett Avenue, Bedel Street and along the west side of Runway 36. The project also includes design of a water truck filling station for use by contractors. A site visit will be scheduled approximately 15 days from the solicitation issue date. This is an unrestricted acquisition. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration(CCR) database and complete an Online Representations and Certifications Application prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in CCR and complete the online representations and certification will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number, recommend registering immediately to be eligible for award. The solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov/. When the solicitation is posted, it can be viewed by going to the FEDBIZOPPS web site, FEDBIZOPPS for Vendors, USAF Offices, Air Force Special Operations Command-Locations, and 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron.
