Synopsis:

The Forest Service has a requirement for camp crews for emergency incidents on the Salmon-Challis National Forest in Custer and Lemhi Counties, Idaho. Work will consist of performing light labor (non-arduous) duties consisting of, but not limited to, picking up trash, moving supplies and boxes, helping to erect tents and other structures, digging trenches, cleaning tables and bussing kitchen trash. The standard camp crew size is 10 individuals. This project is being advertised as a commercial item written quotation and will be solicited using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Forest Service anticipates issuing multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA s) from this solicitation. Performance period will be approximately June 1, 2008 through November 30, 2008. Quotes are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, May 27, 2008. The solicitation will be available on approximately April 25, 2008, and may be downloaded from this site at that time. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All responsible vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database. You may register at www.ccr.gov.
