The purpose of this amendment 1 is to answer questions.
Question:
There seems to be a conflict of words in your RFQ. A shirt can not be 100% polyester and 100% cotton at the same time?
Answer:
The following is provided to clarify.
Current Solicitation states incorrectly:
Fabric: shall be either 100% polyester with x-eede moisture control and anti-microbial technology, weight: 7.25 oz. per square yd. Must feature a 100% smooth cotton fabric that is very soft to the touch, will not shrink, wrinkle or fade and easily accepts embroidery or imprinting. An equivalent fabric or design is acceptable.
Solicitation is amended to read:
Fabric: shall be EITHER 100% polyester with x-eede moisture control and anti-microbial technology, weight: 7.25 oz. per square yd. OR the polo shirt must feature a 100% smooth cotton fabric that is very soft to the touch, will not shrink, wrinkle or fade and easily accepts embroidery or imprinting, OR an equivalent fabric or design is acceptable.
Question:
Is delivery in bulk or will individuals be ordering as needed against an open contract?
Answer:
This requirement is for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. It is anticipated that the first order on this contract will be for the entire minimum for each shirt for the base period; after that, orders will be made as needed.
