Synopsis:

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number is RFQ-TOTS-RFQ-08-0102, and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for electronic security equipment. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This procurement is unrestricted with the assigned North American Industry Classification System code 561621, Security Systems Services, and the small business size standard is $11.5 million. The Offeror must supply all line items. The selected Offeror must comply with the following commercial item terms and conditions. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (see attachment for 52.212-5 applicable clauses) apply to this acquisition. The selected Offeror must submit a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and price related factors considered. Offerors shall submit descriptive literature, technical features, and warranty provisions with offer. Price will be evaluated to determine its fairness, completeness, and reasonableness as it relates to the items offered.

Shipping is FOB Destination. The Contractor shall provide new equipment only. The Government will not accept any used or remanufactured products.
