Description: NIST is conducting the following research on enabling the adoption and furthering the development of the NIST Multimodal Biometric Application Resource Kit (MBARK) software library.
(i) Methods, technologies, documentation, and protocols to increase the usability of MBARK from a software development perspective.
(ii) Development of portable multimodal biometric data collection capabilities in support of testing and evaluation activities for the Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) Next Generation Identification (NGI) program.
