Synopsis:

The Washington Headquarters Services Acquisition & Procurement Office, Rosslyn, Virginia on behalf of the Principal Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, Arlington, Virginia intends to award a Firm-Fixed price, Sole Source Contract to Vector Technologies, LLC, 11350 Random Hills Road, Suite 800, Fairfax, Virginia. The Principle Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Office has a requirement for Personal Desktop Contermeasures, portable electronic device storage boxes. Vector Technologies, LLC maintains all manufacturing, patent and proprietary rights and is the only distributor for these devices. This announcement is published as a Sole Source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(2). The contract will be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available; however, any party that believes it is capable of meeting this requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirement. Capability statement must be received by the response date and time of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12 and 13.
