Description:
Request for Proposal RFP 182-JD
The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals for the purposes of entering into a contract through competitive negotiations for the professional services of an Architectural/Engineering firm, authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of VA, with experience in the design of operational buildings similar to that required for this building. The contract will be issued to a full service firm or an architectural firm who must provide a team to offer Civil, Structural, MEP and Cost disciplines.
Scope of Services:
Monies have been appropriated for the construction of a new 11,268 square foot Combination Building. The Combination Building will consist of a 7,650 square foot Equipment Repair Shop with 6 Equipment Repair Bays, 1and bays for Stockroom and Equipment Room. A 1,668 square foot Office Wing for Shop Supervisor and Equipment Technicians and a 1,950 Square Foot Office Wing for District Survey Team and Residency Staff to include Offices, Open Area, Men s/Women s Bathrooms, Meeting Area and Lunch Counter. As design commences certain changes in configuration and type building could occur to accommodate VDOT end user. The estimated Construction Cost including emergency generator and required site work is $2,050,000.00.
