Bid Description:
General Contractors are invited to bid on the Double Lock Standing Seam Metal Roof Installation for the CCC Log Cabin Project for the Agency of Natural Resources, Department of Fish and Wildlife at Maidstone State Park, in Maidstone, Vermont.Roof Renovations Project to include, but not be limited to the following
1.) Removal and disposal of existing roofing on the CCC Log Cabin.
2.) Replacement of any damaged or rotten roof decking boards.
3.) Cover existing roof deck with € CDX exterior plywood, nailed to rafters in those areas where the roof deck is visible from below with coated fasteners.
4.) Cover plywood roof deck with a layer of 30 lb. felt paper prior to roofing installation.
5.) Repair or replace any damaged or rotten rafter tails (Two known locations at this time).
6.) Replace fascia trim boards (assume replacing all fascia for bid).
7.) Replacement of drip edge.
8.) Replacement of flashing.
9.) To install new Roof System Materials (Double Lock Standing Seam Metal) according to manufacturers
specifications. Color choice by Owner from samples provided by Contractor.
10.) All new work to be constructed according to Corresponding Roof System Manufacturers specifications to provide a Minimum 20-year Warranty.
