Synopsis:

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, Md. (NSWCIH) intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to National Instruments Corporation. The procurement consist of a data acquisition system used to both control and collect data from the gun target system, must contain six PXI 6115 simultaneous sampling cards capable of sampling at a rate of 10MS/s, 24 data acquisition channels and software written in Lab View for data analysis. The sole source is being issued based on the National Instruments Corporation proprietary rights to the Lab View software. The applicable North American Industrial classification System (NIACS) code is 334516. The FSC code is 6640. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1).
