Synopsis:

The Port Hueneme Division (PHD), Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) intends to solicit Small Business for a Firm Fixed Price Contract for the purchase of DU-19/U Display Units.
This acquisition is for approximately 220 each, 17 TFT-LCD, 1280X1024 Pixels, Deck or Hull mounted Display Units to be purchased within a three year period. The Display Units will be utilized on AEGIS Display System. DU-19/U Display Unit is a Form, Fit Function replacement of IP-1533 CRT based indicator. The unit is daisy chained, takes RGB analog video input with sync on green and displays visual graphics and tabular data. The design for the Display Units must be available and already tested and/or certified to meet (a) Grade A Type I Shock per MIL-STD 901D; (b) Vibration per MIL-STD-167-1; (c) Power per MIL-STD-1399, Section 300A paragraphs 5.3.1 and 5.3.2; (d) EMI per MIL-STD-461E, RE101, RE102, RS101, CE101, CE102, CS101, and CS 114 and (e) Thermal Humidity per MIL-STD-810F. Equipment is onboard US Navy Ships and may not be available for viewing by contractors.

The anticipated issue date for the solicitation is 25 April 2008. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334119 and the size standard is 1000 employees. Federal Supply Classification (FSC) is 7025. All responsible parties may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. NOTES 1 and 26 apply.
