ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES
The University of California, Davis, Medical Center (UCDMC) Sacramento, California requests Statements of Qualifications to provide architectural consulting services for the following project:

A/C 9557600 DT1 FD&C CORRIDOR INTERFACE PROJECTS

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project will remodel and/or reconfigure existing Davis Tower Corridors to connect to the new Pavilion project (currently under construction). The scope of work includes floor, ceiling, wall and door demolition, new finishes, new solo floor and ceilings, new ceiling, modifications to electrical, HVAC, plumbing and fire sprinklers to a Radiology reception and waiting area. Communications house call and fire alarm systems will require upgrades. All work will impact existing hospital operations. The construction budget is estimated at $800,000 including equipment. The project is under the regulatory jurisdiction of the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) and the State Fire Marshall. The approximate completion date is Spring 2009.

Sub-consulting services for mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural, coordination documents, fire alarm and fire sprinkler disciplines will be negotiated following selection of the architectural firm. The selected firm will be expected to sign an Executive Design Professional Agreement that will include a lump sum fee for the provision of all basic services and it will include hourly rates for potential additional services.

Qualification documents will be available to firms starting March 24, 2008, and will be issued at the offices of FACILITIES DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION, address as indicated below.

All statements of qualifications must be received on or before April 7, 2008, no later than 5:00 P.M. at the above address. Firms may either deliver their materials to the above address or mail them sufficiently in advance of the due date to ensure delivery and receipt by the required time and date.
