This is a synopsis of a requirement for dockside repair. This is request for quotation (RFQ) number HSCG80-09-Q-3FA013.
100% Set-A-Side for Small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611 and the size standard is 1000 employees.
The requirement is for the following: Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, services, and competence to perform the following for USCGC OCRACOKE (WPB-1307) Welding Repairs-Freeboard crack Repair; Welding repairs-Armory Crack repair; Clean and Inspect Fuel Stowage and Overflow Tanks (includes disposal); Clean and Inspect Fuel Service Tanks (includes disposal); Renew Quick-Acting Watertight Hatch; Renew Quick-Acting Doors; Renew Ventilation Ducting; Preserve Bilge Surfaces in Various Locations; Reseal Cosmetic Polymeric Deck Covering Systems; remove Insulation and Preserve Bulkhead; and Renew Galley Reefer & Freezer Doors. All work will be performed at the homeport in ST. Petersburg, FL. Performance period of Twenty-One (21) days, beginning date is November 24, 2008.
The RFQ package and Specifications will be available electronically on or about September 18, 2008. The government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offer: Price and Past Performance.
