Synopsis:

DREDGING, MISSISSIPPI RIVER, TEEPEEOTA POINT. Work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all plant, labor, material and equipment to excavate and transfer approximately 300,000 cubic yards of stockpiled dredge material from the Teepeeota Po int dredge material placement site, located at approximately UMR 757.5 on the left descending bank in Pool 4, to an upland placement site located approximately 2 to 2-1/2 miles from the excavation site. The Teepeeota Point dredge material placement site i s an island site without road access that has historically been used for placement of material dredged from the main channel of the Mississippi River. This procurement is issued unrestricted under the SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVE DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM (Publ ic Law 100-66). The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) Code is 237990 and the Small Business Size Standard (dredging) is $18.5 million average gross revenue for the past 3 years. The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physi cal characteristics and estimated price is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. It is anticipated that the plans and specifications will be posted on www.FedTeds.gov on or around 03 March 2008. Any changes to this date will be posted on this website.
