A sign-in sheet will be used to verify attendance. Responses received from contractors that did not attend this meeting will be rejected. On-site inspections will be conducted the day of the Pre-Bid Meeting only.

DESCRIPTION: DEPOSIT: $400.00/set refundable (returned in good condition), made payable to Finley Engineering Company. The first set of plans and specifications will be delivered to the requestor at no charge to the requestor. For each additional set of plans and specifications, there will be a non-refundable charge of $400.00 per set.
FURTHER DESCRIPTION: Sealed Responses for the New Voice/Data Distribution System, Cantonment Area of Camp Ripley, Little Falls, Minnesota (Project No. 06906) will be received by the Facilities Management Office, Department of Military Affairs, State of Minnesota, Camp Ripley, 15000 Highway 115, Little Falls, Minnesota 56345-4173, until the date and time listed in the Response Due date and time noted above. After such time, responses will be opened and publicly read aloud. The estimated construction cost is $3,500,000.00. The project includes but is not limited to: Furnish and install a new telecommunications system consisting of buried copper and fiber optic cables, buried ducts, handholes, manholes, pedestals, building services entrances, fiber optic and copper NIDs, conduit runs in buildings, and splicing and testing of the new facilities. The project also includes furnish and install of four (4) prefabricated equipment buildings on poured concrete foundations, HVAC systems, fiber optic and copper terminations and electrical service entrances. Each response which totals more than $50,000.00 must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or money order made payable only to the State of Minnesota; or a surety bond of a surety company duly authorized to do business in the State of Minnesota; in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the response, which is submitted as a solicitation security conditioned upon the responder s entering into a contract with the State of Minnesota in accordance with the terms of the solicitation. It is agreed that said solicitation security of the successful responder will constitute liquidated damages, not a penalty, for the failure or refusal of the successful responder to execute and deliver the contractual documents, in a correct form, within ten (10) days after receipt of the contract documents.
