MEETING DETAILS: A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site tour is scheduled for 8/27/08 beginning at 10:00 AM at the National Guard Armory, 211 North McCarrons Boulevard, Roseville, MN 55113. A pre-bid meeting is being conducted to facilitate questions and allow access to the project site for inspection. All questions and their answers will be incorporated into an addendum which will be distributed to all plan holders of record.

FURTHER DESCRIPTION: Each response which totals more than $50,000.00 must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or money order made payable only to the State of Minnesota; or a surety bond of a surety company duly authorized to do business in the State of Minnesota; in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the response, which is submitted as a solicitation security conditioned upon the responder s entering into a contract with the State of Minnesota in accordance with the terms of the solicitation. It is agreed that said solicitation security of the successful responder will constitute liquidated damages, not a penalty, for the failure or refusal of the successful responder to execute and deliver the contractual documents, in a correct form, within ten (10) days after receipt of the contract documents. This project is subject to Targeted Group/Economically Disadvantaged business preference. Plans and specifications may be ordered via the internet at www.ersdigital.com and clicking on the PlanWell icon, then the Public Plan Room icon, select Roseville Minnesota National Guard Armory Vault and Supply Room Addition.
