MEETING DETAILS: A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site tour is scheduled for 7/21/08 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Building 8-195, Camp Ripley, Little Falls, MN 56345. A pre-bid meeting is being conducted to facilitate questions and allow access to the project site for inspection. All questions and their answers will be incorporated into an addendum which will be distributed to all plan holders of record.

The project includes, but is not limited to: New heating system for the approximately 13,000 sf hangar, including a new 2nd floor mechanical room accommodating boilers, air handling units and associated mechanical equipment; The new 2nd floor area (approximately 2,600 sf) will be constructed of CMU bearing walls with steel joists, decking and concrete floor; New fire sprinkler system; New fire alarm system; Plumbing and electrical rough-ins for future bar equipment; New electrical power and data rough-ins; New Latrines; Enclose and insulate the hangar end-walls; New insulated exterior entrances.
FURTHER DESCRIPTION: FURTHER DESCRIPTION: Each response which totals more than $50,000.00 must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or money order made payable only to the State of Minnesota; or a surety bond of a surety company duly authorized to do business in the State of Minnesota; in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the response, which is submitted as a solicitation security conditioned upon the responder s entering into a contract with the State of Minnesota in accordance with the terms of the solicitation. It is agreed that said solicitation security of the successful responder will constitute liquidated damages, not a penalty, for the failure or refusal of the successful responder to execute and deliver the contractual documents, in a correct form, within ten (10) days after receipt of the contract documents. This project is subject to Targeted Group/Economically Disadvantaged business preference.
