| The purpose of this invitation to bid is to obtain competitive bids for the outright purchase, delivery and installation of a dedicated liquid chromatography triple quadrupole mass spectrometer to be used in the Chemical Residue Laboratory, Division of Food Safety within the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The selected systems shall include the mass spectrometer, electrospray ion source, data system, ACQUITY binary solvent manager, ACQUITY sample manager, and ACQUITY column manager (single column), and any components necessary to install the Waters ACQUITY UPLC System with the selected mass spectrometer as specified herein. The following instruments are approved: A) Applied Biosystems API 5000 LC/MS/MS with Waters ACQUITY UPLC; or B) Applied Biosystems 4000 Q-TRAP LC/MS/MS with Waters ACQUITY UPLC; or C) Thermo Scientific/ThermoFisher Finnigan TSQ Quantum Ultra with Waters ACQUITY UPLC; or D) Waters Corporation Quattro Premier XE with Waters ACQUITY UPLC Any systems bid shall include the Waters ACQUITY UPLC System as described herein. Any bid that does not include the Waters ACQUITY UPLC System as described herein shall be rejected.
