Sole Source Intent - FA4686-08-T-0153

The Government intends to award a sole source contract to Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. for a Direct Digital Control Installation and motor pump replacemenmt in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Siemens Building Technologies is the manufacture of the currently used Direct Digital Control system used on base. The acquisition of this service contract is necessary for the 9th Civil Engineering Squadron to satisfy mission accomplishment. The procurement of this service must be completed in a timely manner in order to meet mission requirements. Market research has identified Siemens as the only provider for the servicing Beale AFB with Apogee Insight for Direct Digital Control. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210 and the Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 8744. The business size standard is $32.5M.
