Bid Description:
The Morrisville District Office of DCF serves children and families from Lamoille County in Vermont. DCF Social Services is responsible for the investigation of child abuse and neglect as well as the care and supervision of children placed in state custody on the basis of abuse, neglect, unmanageability and delinquency. Children and youth in state custody may be placed out of their homes for their own protection, protection of the community, and/or for treatment purposes. Many of the children placed out of their parent € s home are placed in foster homes recruited, trained and licensed by DCF.
