Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to issue a Sole-Source Purchase Order to PAGE STAMP LLC, 13 GUERNSEY LN STE 5B, EAST BRUNSWICK NJ 08816-3507, to procure a 30-DAY Trial Rental of Multi Page Stamp Numbering Machine. PAGE STAMP LLC is the only source whose machine features a vacuum driven feeder (patent pending) that is so unique that it can feed odd sized stapled documents, including payment remittances, variable weight documents and overnight envelopes into a slitter, for mail extraction IRS compliance needs. Other features include:
Multi Page stamp numbering machine that features a 3600/hr, vacuum feeder that can lift and feed a varied mix of substrates, such as: stapled documents, overnight FEDEX, DHL, UPS, US POST OFFICE envelopes, as well as various weights of substrates. Along with feeding variable documents, there must be a floating print head that can rise in height and print on packaged material of many variable heights or thickness.

This Notice is not a Request for Quote and no solicitation will be publicized. The Government intends to solicit only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This acquisition is being solicited and awarded as a commercial item, in accordance with FAR 13.
IRS will consider all written responses received no later than August 22, 2008 by 8:00 AM EST. The final decision lies solely with the Government in this matter. If no written response is received that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all requirements and that it is more advantageous to the Government, we intend to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole-source basis to PAGE STAMP LLC.
