Synopsis:

NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quotations (NNG08256786Q) for the followingCommercial items: Spare parts for a Meridian Technology Video System which is currentlyowned by NASA. The spare parts include video receivers, transmitters, multiplexor cards,power supplies, a wavelength power meter and a 19 inch fan assembly. A complete list ofpart numbers will be included with the solicitation. The Government requires MeridianTechnologies parts for these items as they must interface with the equipment alreadyowned and in use by the Government.This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1.The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 334220 and 750, respectively. The anticipated release date of RFQ NNG08256786Q is on or about July 18, 2008 with ananticipated quotation due date of on or about July 28, 2008.An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B".Prospective offerors must request a copy of the solicitation in writing (email or faxrequests are allowed) from the primary point of contact listed in this pre-solicitationnotice.
