Description
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION.    The Export-Import Bank (Ex-Im) of the United States seeks industry comment on a forthcoming requirement.    The comment period is from 2/6/08 to 2/20/08 with a target release date of the solicitation on 2/25/08 and a target quote due date of 3/17/08.   
Ex-Im Bank Business Intelligence Reporting System.    The requirement is for a Web-based Application Redesign of a legacy SQL/MS ACCESS application.    The objective is to develop a versatile Ex-Im Business Intelligence Reporting System including a data warehouse,    a dashboard , ETL systems design & implementation , a pilot, a system development, and documentation and training.        The Ex-Im Bank intends to fulfill this requirement under the commercial buy procedures of FAR Part 12 or GSA schedule procedures of FAR Part 8, depending on the number of responses indicating a viable GSA schedule solution.    A draft of the requirement is posted on the Ex-Im Bank internet site at http://www.exim.gov/about/contracting.cfm.    The Bank is interested in feedback related to incremental additions of capabilities and tools to the Bank?s existing suite (Oracle, Hyperion, Telelogic System Architect ) to build a data warehouse,    extract, transform and load (ETL) information and automate building all or part of the dashboard and publish the information on a Intranet portal and use a subset of the public data on the Internet.    The Bank is also interested in information to improve on the Government cost estimate by defining    the labor categories and hours required to perform the work (Exhibit J.4).
