Description
The 38 Engineering Installation Group has a requirement for non-personal services for local commercial communication services for AEDC/SDC, Arnold AFB, TN. The proposed contract is for five years. The local exchange service provider certified by Tennessee PUC shall provide local commercial communication service for AEDC/SDC, Arnold AFB, TN. Local communications service shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, Direct In Dial Directory Numbers, Local Exchange Digital ISDN PRI, Transport Channels, Foreign Listings, local and Intra-LATA access, and interconnection with Inter-LATA exchange carrier. Competition is open to domestic and foreign sources. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. Sources responding to this synopsis must indicate, in writing, whether they are large, small, disadvantaged and/or a women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under NAICS 517110 with size standard of 1500 employees. This solicitation may be viewed and downloaded from the FEDBIZOPS website address: http://fbo.gov/ . This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
