Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: Custom Cluster Tech Support. This requirement is sole sourced to Tsunamic Technologies, Inc. 4024 Forest Island Dr., Orlando, FL 32826-2622, based on the fact that they are the only known company that offers the required support with the software capability required. This requirement is for rental of hardware located at the contractor?s site. The hardware is a 9-node Linux cluster custom configured to run NAWCWD, China Lake, CA weather prediction software. The company can provide all the required system administration. The hardware is completely dedicated for NAWCWD, China Lake, CA use only. The technical code will access the system over the Internet. Tsunamic Technologies Inc. is the only known company who offers the rental cluster solution meeting the following requirements: 24x7 access to dedicated cluster and web/file server using secure shell, system maintenance, system administration, system engineering, Cisco Pixfire Wall security, TightVNC GUI/Desktop access, 5 TB of hard disk space, 950 MB/s bandwidth, 10 G Ethernet connectivity, separate storage network and proven COAMPS run capability. Any firms believing that they can provide the support may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the product without causing programmatic hardship.
