Furnish all labor, materials, tools, transportation, permits, insurance and superintendence necessary to repair a pedestrian bridge at Council Bluff Lake. The Council Bluff Beach Access Bridge is a pedestrian bridge with seven spans and a total length of 121.5 feet. The substructure is composed of two reinforced concrete columns with treated timber cap at each of 7 piers. Abutments are composed of concrete sills. The superstructure has treated timber stringers supporting treated timber decking. Deck to streambed height varies from 2' to 9 -9 .
Recent inspections have revealed deterioration in the top and bottom of many of the concrete columns. Deterioration has resulted in cracking, delamination and spalling of concrete. Minor rusting of reinforcement is evident by staining. No structural failure or misalignments were noted
