REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR TRANSITIONAL SHELTER BEDS
The City of Greater Sudbury is seeking to receive and evaluate proposals for up to $192,260 in funding for the development of transitional beds for the chronically homeless through partnerships.
Proposal documents may be downloaded free of charge from the City's website at http://www.greatersudbury.ca/pubapps/tenders/ or may be picked up at the City of Greater Sudbury, Supplies & Services Section, 2nd Floor, Tom Davies Square, 200 Brady Street, Sudbury for a non-refundable fee of $10.50 ($10.00 plus GST).
Proposals must be submitted to the City of Greater Sudbury, Supplies & Services Section, Main Floor, Tom Davies Square, 200 Brady Street, Sudbury NO LATER THAN 11:00:00 a.m. (our time), Thursday, July 3rd, 2008 using one of the following methods:
a) preferably via email to tenders@greatersudbury.ca. Note: Please call 705-674-4455, Ext. 2501 or 2497 to confirm our receipt of your proposal submission. Please submit in PDF format under one (1) attachment.
b) via fax to 705-671-8118. Note: Please call 705-674-4455, Ext. 2501 or 2497 to confirm your receipt your proposal submission.
c) in person or by courier using the address label sheet provided, to the City of Greater Sudbury, Supplies & Services Section, 2nd Floor, Tom Davies Square, 200 Brady Street, Sudbury.
Note: These documents have been provided in an Adobe Form Fill in Format. Proponents may complete and save the forms using Adobe Standard version. (Note: The forms cannot be saved using adobe reader.)
Proposals will be opened by the Tender Opening Sub-Committee, the same day at 2:30:00 p.m., in Committee Room C-21, 2nd Floor, Tom Davies Square. Please be advised only the names of those proponents who have submitted a proposal will be released at the meeting. Information regarding pricing or contents of the proposal submissions will not be provided as we reserve the right to negotiate with all Proponents.
Communications
All communication (including clarification required from a technical perspective and/or from a purchasing perspective) between the CGS and prospective vendors MUST BE in written format via email or fax. To facilitate comprehensive responses, Proponents are encouraged to email their questions as soon as possible to tenders@greatersudbury.ca or fax to (705) 671-8118. The deadline for questions is 12:00 noon, Thursday, June 26th, 2008. No verbal instructions or verbal information to Proponents will be binding on the CGS. Do not contact any other staff persons, other than the Supplies & Services Section staff, regarding this tender.
