Synopsis:

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The California Army National Guard has a requirement to purchase a Compressed Air Breathing Air System, to be used for supplying breathing air to employees painting aircraft. The system is to have the capacity such that up to 8 people can use the breathing air at the same time, for up to an hour. Installation of the system is to be included in the purchase also, and quotes should include any fees for installation. Delivery and installation location is in Fresno, CA. Specifications for the compressed air system are available upon e-mail request, please e-mail jeannie.r.thornton@us.army.mil to request the specifications, prior to submitting a quote. Simplified acquisition procedures will be utilized. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Quotes are due no later than Friday, August 8, 2008 at 11:00 am PST, and may be faxed to 805-594-6348 or e-mailed to Jeannie Thornton.
