Synopsis:

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the inmates at the Federal Correctional Complex located in Tucson, Arizona. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed outputs. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided may include inpatient/outpatient hospital services, inpatient/outpatient physician services and outpatient institution services. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract shall consist of a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the base period and each option year remain unchanged and are as follows: Inpatient Days - 100 Days (Estimated); Outpatient Visits - 160 Visits (Estimated). Due to the volume of information, quantities of outpatient institution services will be provided in the solicitation document. The solicitation will be made available on/or about May 8, 2008, and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most current information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on/or about June 23, 2008. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. Faith-based and community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
