Colville National Forest, Pierre Lake Campground. The Colville National Forest located in North East Washington State has a requirement for construction, reconstruction and obliteration of roads in the Pierre Lake Campground.
The Contractor shall furnish all management, labor, equipment, supervision, tools, materials, transportation, operating supplies, supervision, workman s compensation, unemployment insurance and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specification and provisions of the contract. The project consists of reconstruction of the existing roads and the construction of new roads within the Pierre Lake Campground. The work required to complete the reconstruction and construction is clearing and disposal of timber and slash, excavation and hauling of borrow material, roadway obliteration, hauling and placing aggregate, culvert installation and seeding all disturbed areas.
The project is located on the Three Rivers Ranger District. Driving directions are as follows: head north on State Highway 395 from Colville for approximately 30 miles; turn off of highway 395 at Barslow and proceed toward Pierre Lake for approximately 10 miles to Pierre Lake Campground.
Work is estimated to begin in July, 2008 with a completion date of November 15, 2008.
Magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000.
This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) rules. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about June 6, 2008. Quotes are estimated to be due July 7, 2008. The actual due date will be listed in the solicitation.
This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 237310, size standard $31 million.
