The Western Montana Acquisition Zone anticipates awarding a contract for flood repair. The project consists of repairing flood damage on an approximate 0.5 mile section of Forest Road No. 1633 (Clayton Creek) located on the Hungry Horse Ranger District of the Flathead National Forest in Flathead County, Montana. The major items of work include: installation of a 95-inch span x 67-inch rise corrugated steel pipe arch with end section, a 24-inch corrugated steel pipe with end section, and two 18-inch corrugated steel pipes; removal of excess streambed material; the hauling and placing of unclassified borrow, riprap, and crushed aggregate; disposal of logs and wood debris; drain dip construction; road reconditioning; and seeding, fertilizing, and mulching the site.
This project is a HUBZone set-aside with an estimated value between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be available approximately June 8, 2008.
