Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement cons titutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number is W912NR-08-T-0012, and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Louisiana Army National Guard is seeking proposals f or a Firm Fixed Price contract for catered meals required in Hammond, LA. This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Number 2005-16 and Defense Acquisition Circular Number 91-10, 20070327 Edition. T his solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. Vendor will be selected based on price and past performance with price considered more important than past performance. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 722320 with sma ll business standard of $6.5 million or less annual gross revenue. The contract will be to serve 187 breakfasts per day from 26 February 16 March 2008 and 187 dinners per day from 25 February 15 March 2008. Both meals will be delivered to Bldg 801 11t h Street, Camp Beauregard, Pineville, Louisiana, 71360. Facilities are not equipped to maintain proper serving temperatures; therefore, the offeror will provide means to maintain food at proper temperatures in accordance with industry standards for food sa fety and sanitation throughout the delivery and serving periods (e140 degrees for hot food and d 40 degrees for cold food). Interested parties are to provide their quote with three (3) references for past performance. There is no preferred method to submit quote. Meals must be in accordance with the Louisiana Army National Guard attached menu. There is no facility available for offeror to prepare, cook or serve food. The contractor is also responsible to provide condiments, paper plates, utensils, and napki ns (see Scope of Work)
