The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)/ Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) National Capital Region (NCR) has a requirement for DISA Information Systems Center (DISC) to acquire new network support services for Corporate Enterprise Network (CORENet) Operations, Administration, and Expansion task (formerly known as DISANet). CORENet consists of an enterprise network of computer systems that provides the DISA customer with direct administrative Information Technology (IT) services and access to other DISA and Department of Defense (DoD) IT services.
In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.204, the Government offers this acquisition for competition limited to eligible 8(a) contractors.
The resulting award will be Best Value Trade-Off, with non-cost factors being significantly more important than cost. If at anytime the Government determines that the requested services are no longer required, the Government reserves the right to not make an award. The Government also reserves the right to award without discussions. The base period of performance will be two years from contract award, with three (3) one-year option periods. The NAICS code is 541513, Computer Facilities Management Services.
This is the Final RFP. Several changes have been made since the Draft RFP was issued on 21 February 2008. The most significant changes are to Sections B, C, and L of the RFP. All questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted to Nathan Wheeling at Nathan.Wheeling@DISA.mil no later than 18 April 2008 at 2:00 PM EDT. Oral communications are not acceptable.
Potential offerors are invited to submit their proposals as described in Section L of the RFP, to be received not later than 5 May 2008 at 2:00 PM EDT.
