This procurement is for various Fully Competitive Casters, Wheels and Frames. There are a total 40 Core items out of a universe of 282, the remaining 242 items are non-core and currently have no demand. The non-core items maybe added to any resulting award(s) through DLAD 52.216-9006 ADDITION/DELETION OF ITEMS (MAY 2007) clause. The Core items are being solicited on a TOTAL SET-ASIDE basis. The solicitation will be issued under FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The proposed Indefinite Delivery Contract is for a two (2) year base period contract with three (3) one-year options; the proposed contract will be Firm Fixed Price, with a request for 60 day delivery schedule. The Item Description, Annual Estimated Quantity (AEQ), Unit of Issue, Drawing numbers and Packaging Data for the Core items can be found on pages 42-73 of the solicitation. The universe of items will not be listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will include DFARS 252.225-7020 Trade Agreements Certificate (JAN 2005) and Trade Agreements (JAN 2005)(19 U.S.C. 2501-2518 and 19 U.S.C. 3301) note. The proposed contract will be evaluated using Best Value Procedures. The solicitation and drawings will be available to all interested parties through the DLA BSM Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. To obtain a copy of the drawings for the Casters, access the C file located on the website.
