This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for supplies in which the government intends to acquire in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Alaska Fisheries Science Center located in Seattle, WA has a requirement for a cluster system with all system components and software must be completely preconfigured, rack mounted and cabled. Cluster System MUST include the following: AMD Quad Core Processors-minimum 2.2Ghz, One Head Node with at least 5TB of disk space, Equivalent of 10 Compute Nodes (can use 5 dual Node or 10 single Node IU systems), InfiniBand 20GB 24 port interconnect switch, Linux Based OS and cluster management software, rack and cabling.
