Synopsis:

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 08EASPR080383 and it is issued as request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This is a small business set aside and the associated NAICS code is 42430 and small business size standard is 100 employees. CLIN 01-Quantity two (2) Each, CISCO 802.11A/G IOS-DUAL RADIO AP120, CIS-AIR-AP1232AG-A-K9; CLIN 02-Quantity five (5) Each, CISCO 802.11B/G OUTDOOR ACCESS POINT, CS1-AIR-LAP1505G-A-K9; CLIN 03-Quantity five (5) Each, CISCO 2.4GHZ 5.0 DBI OMNI ANT, CIS-AIR-ANT2450V-N; CLIN 04-Quantity five (5) Each, CISCO DIPOLE RUBBER DUCK ANT, CS1-AIR-ANT4941. This acquisition is in support of the Office of Preparedness and Emergency Operations within the Department of Health and Human Services. The equipment is for a proof of concept to move from a wired LAN to wireless for the Continuity of Operations (COOP) at alternate operating facilities and for deployed teams. All items are to be delivered FOB Destination within 30 days from award to 16071 Industrial Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20877. The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 is not applicable. The Government will award a contract resulting from this synopisis/solicitation to the responsible lowest priced offeror. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. Please note: An offeror shall complete only paragraph (b) of this provision if the offeror has completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov. If an offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at the ORCA website, the offeror shall complete only paragraphs (c) through (m) of this provision. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
