Synopsis:

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to purchase the following items on a sole source basis from Controlled Systems, 1209 East Executive Drive East, Richardson, TX 75081-2228: two PC01117-S099 printed circuit boards PCB DPCB1 with software; one handle with cable. Only the specified items will meet the Governments requirements. These items are being procured on a sole source basis from Controlled Systems as they are the sole manufacturer and seller of these items. The items will be used to replace current non-operational parts within two 400 HZ Frequency Converters, previously built by Controlled Systems for the Navy. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The closing date is 2:00 pm ET on 14 August 2008. The anticipated award date is 15 August 2008. Delivery shall be no later than 25 August 2008. The government will not issue a written request for quotations as all items are identified in this notice.
