Description
This is a Notice of Intent: The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to award on a sole source basis to: Safety Systems Corp. 50 N. Gary Ave. STE B, Roselle, IL 60172-1605. The proposed acquisition is for purchasing CIRAS Tactical Vest (Maritime version) under GSA contract GS-07F-8860D. The United States Coast Guard plans on purchasing a variety of sizes, all in the color Khaki. The Contractor shall provide a total of (60) sixty small; (180) one hundred and eighty medium; (48) forty-eight large; and (8) eight extra large. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 315999 with Size Standard of 500. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, source under the authority of FAR 6.303-1.
