Description
Architect/Engineer Services to provide all services required to prepare and furnish complete Level 1 Request for Proposal (RFP) documents as required for the accomplishment of Design/Build Project No. 538-103, entitled "NHCU Building 210CD" at the VA Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio. The RFP documents shall consist of space program, schematic drawings (detailing both existing conditions and new work), technical requirements, cost estimates, phasing and projected construction schedules for VA to issue RFP for design/build firms to complete the design and build the project. A/E will assist VA with design reviews during the design/build process. The existing Nursing Home Care Unit (NHCU) is located in 19,000 gsf on the second floor of Building 210. Areas are outdated and not efficiently arranged. The project involves renovation and adding approximately 3,500 gsf. The estimated cost range of the Design/Build Project is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. The geographical limitation for consideration is limited to with in the State of Ohio. Submissions from firms located outside the geographical area shall not be considered. Qualified A/E firms desiring consideration must submit documentation outlining in-house capabilities to complete all phases of the required services in addition to the appropriate data as described in Numbered Note 24 no later than March 31, 2008. Any requests for additional information on this project must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. Award of a contract is subject to availability of funds. This IS NOT a request for proposals and a solicitation document DOES NOT exist. See Numbered Note 24. NAICS 541310, Size Standards $4 Million.
