Project Description: Repair and alteration of historic railway Vancouver Amtrak Station. Including, but not limited to, connection of City-provided temporary trailers to building infrastructure for electricity, sanitary and water services; Modifying paving at public entrances to meet federal ADA standards; Demolition of ticket and baggage counters, selected interior walls, existing lighting, mechanical and electrical services, and existing public toilets including lead removal monitoring program at painted finishes. Provide and install new finishes and plumbing at public toilet rooms and staff toilet; Drinking fountain; Ticket/baggage counter; Interior lighting and limited exterior lighting; HVAC units and ductwork; Electrical service, branch circuits and convenience power and other work to complete the project as shown in the Contract Documents.

There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting May 21, 2008 at 10:00a.m. at nearby City of Vancouver Esther Short Building, 610 Esther St, Vancouver WA 98660. Attendance is highly encouraged. Submittals for substitution requests and questions are due by 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2008.
