The University of Houston - Clear Lake (herein called the Owner), invites sealed lump sum bids for: BAYOU BUILDING AIR HANDLER 10 REPLACEMENT 759-FMC-804 Sealed bids (in triplicate) should be clearly marked with the project name, and be addressed and delivered directly to: University of Houston - Clear Lake Attn: Dan Wilson Facilities Management and Construction Central Services Building 2700 Bay Area Blvd. Houston, TX 77058-1098 no later than 3:00 p.m. October 11, 2007. Bid Packets that are sent via courier, Federal Express, UPS etc. should be addressed to deliver directly to the Central Services Building Attn: Dan Wilson. Any bids not delivered to the Central Services Building may not arrive on time for bid and will not be considered. Subsequently, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Construction shall include, but is not limited to, the following: Installation of Air Handling Unit as purchased and furnished by the owner. Furnish and install ductwork transitions, piping connections, and electrical connections. Bidding Documents are available and may be obtained from the Facilities Management and Construction Division, 2700 Bay Area Blvd., Houston, Texas 77058-1098 - Telephone (281) 283-2250. Prospective bidders may acquire sets of the bidding documents for their use in preparation of a bid for this work at the cost of $20 per set (Non-Refundable). Make check or money order payable to the University of Houston - Clear Lake. Such amount covers the partial cost of printing and handling. There is no expressed or im plied use of these documents for any other purpose than bidding the described work. All rights to use of the documents for this project are retained by the University of Houston - Clear Lake. If it is desired that the plans be mailed, add $5 to the above cost.
