Synopsis:

NASA/ARC has a requirement for four (4) additional sets of blade displacement (BD)measurement systems for four-quadrant photogrammetric measurement capability. Thephotogrammetric measurement system including cameras, strobes, fiber optics andcomputers. The systems are required for the expansion to a four-quadrant photogrammetrycapability to be used during the Airloads UH-60 IBC rotor test in the NASA Ames ResearchCenter, CA 40x80 wind tunnel, Summer 2008. NASA/ARC intends to purchase the items from 1st Vision Inc., Andover, MA, who is theonly known responsible source for continued development of this highly specializedequipment. There is no other system currently available that is compatible with theexisting hardware and NASA developed software designated as WingViewer. The authority ofthis action is 10 USC 2304(c)(1). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested parties may submit written capability statements to Rachel A.
