This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services in which the government intends to acquire in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), located in Santa Rosa, CA has a requirement for benthic invertebrate identification for Port Sonoma Benthic recovery in response to dredging project, taxonomic identification and sample preservation of years 1 & 2 samples. See attached detailed scope of work for complete description of required services. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All interested concerns must submit a quotation and documentation demonstrating the qualification to provide services as outlined in statement of work within fifteen (15) days of the publication date of this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Only firms that can provide the services described herein will be considered. A fixed firm order will be issued with period of performance of 18 months from date of award.
