Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Quotes must be received NLT 22 February 2008. The United States Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, has a requirement for five (5) Automated Flight Control System (AFCS) Computers, Honeywell P/N BG1223AB03, for the MH-47G Special Operations Aircraft. The intended source is Honeywell Inc., DSES, 2600 Ridgway Parkway, Minneapolis, MN 55413, on a sole source basis. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive quote; however, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 336413 and the small business standard is 1,000 employees. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) assigned rating is DO-1A.
