PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Public Works requests Statement of Qualifications for providing various services under the As-Needed Vehicle and Equipment Repair and Towing Services Program (2008-AN013). The total estimated annual Program amount for these services is estimated to be $1.5 million. If not enclosed with this letter, the Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ) with contract specifications, forms, and instructions for preparing and submitting your qualifications may be requested by accessing this link at ftp://dpwftp.co.la.ca.us/solicitationdocuments/vehiclerepair.pdf or from Ms. Tami Maldonado at (626) 458 4080, Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
IF YOUR COMPANY CURRENTLY HAS AN ACTIVE CONTRACT FOR THESE VEHICLE AND EQUIPMENT REPAIR AND TOWING SERVICES WITH PUBLIC WORKS, YOU NEED NOT APPLY, AS YOUR EXISTING CONTRACT IS NOT BEING TERMINATED AS A RESULT OF THIS SOLICITATION.
Minimum Requirement(s): Proposers must meet all minimum requirements set forth in the RFSQ document, including, but not limited to, one year of experience providing the type of service requested, completion of all of the required forms, and proof of valid insurance coverage.
Two Proposers' Workshops will be held on separate dates. The first Workshop will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at 9 a.m. at Public Works Headquarters, 900 South Fremont Avenue, Alhambra, California 91803, in Conference Room B. The second Workshop will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2008, at 9 a.m. at the Fire Department's Camp 2, 4810 North Oak Grove Drive, La Canada Flintridge, California 91011, in the Conference Room. ATTENDANCE BY THE PROPOSER OR AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE AT THE WORKSHOPS IS VOLUNTARY AND BOTH WORKSHOPS WILL COVER THE SAME MATERIAL. IF YOUR COMPANY CURRENTLY HAS AN ACTIVE CONTRACT FOR THESE VEHICLE AND EQUIPMENT REPAIR AND TOWING SERVICES WITH PUBLIC WORKS, YOU NEED NOT ATTEND.
