Amendment to bidding process MSCE has a track of 7 classes range from 1 to 5 days per
class. It's our intent to break the track/class or classes to different individuals to
attend different class or class(s) base upon the persons needs. So to figure the daily
cost use 35 days of training to fine the average daily cost. For the bidding purpose
please average what the daily cost will be for one day of training and use that number in
the unit price. And calculate 7 each times unit price for total amount. |

| Opportunity Summary |
Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) serves the public safety
community (police, corrections, fire, parole and probation, emergency medical dispatch
(EMD), telecommunications, polygraph, and private security) both as a regulatory agency
(Standards and Certification) and training facility (Training Division). On the regulatory
side we track officers' employment, training and education history. This information is
used to approve and track certification status and levels. On the training side, we run an
academy that houses and conducts the basic and advanced training classes for police,
corrections, parole and probation, EMD, telecommunications, fire, supervisory and middle
manage
The training will be to analyze the business requirements and design and implement the
infrastructure for business solutions based on the Microsoft Windows 2003 platform and
Microsoft server software. Implementation responsibilities include installing,
configuring, and troubleshooting network systems.
That will prepare an individual for Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
certification. Training needs to be classroom based and available with in 60 miles of
Salem OR. No web base training or DVD based training will be considered. The following are
categories for training Core exams on networking systems, Client operating systems, Core
design and Elective
Contract time, the initial contract term will be for a period of one year with a
conditional option to renew each year, for up to four additional years, for a total
contract term of up to five years. DPSST reserves the right to amend the contract for time
and/or money contingent upon need and the availability of approved funding. At the time of
renewal any price change will be negotiated
