Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the intention of the Bureau of Land Management to award a purchase order to Field Data Solutions, Inc. of Jerome, ID. for the following Request for Quotation (RFQ) #: HAQ074371 and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. NAICS code 423430; size standard of less $6.5 million. This will be a firm-fixed-price contract for the Bureau of Land Management, Oregon State Office, Multnomah County, Oregon. SUPPLY AND DELIVER: Item 1) Six (6) each Allegro CA 128MB RAM and 512 MB Data Storage with Color Display and Bluetooth capability Model CX128 Field Data Recorders; Item 2) Six (6) each USB/Power Docks; Item 3) Six (6) each Compact Flash Cards and Item 4) Six (6) each Compact Flash Card adapters. Options include; Windows CE.NET 4.x; PCMCIA Card slot; 400 MHz Intel XScale PXA255 Processor; two (2) serial ports with 9-pin connectors; NjMH battery pack; wall charger; CE serial communication cable; Mini and Full size styluses; Carrying case; Windows CE software suite that includes: two screen protectors; PTab Spreadsheet; Calculator; Microsoft Windows Explorer, InBox Email; Pocket Internet Explorer; and WordPad. (2) USB/Power Dock for Allegro CE or CX; (3) 512 Mb Compact Flash Card; and (4) Compact Flash Card adapter. This action is BRAND NAME specific due to BLM having developed additional software specifically for the Allegro CX 128 Recorder for various applications in recording specific data concerning log scaling/inventory management and wildlife species and vegetation inventory protection in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(b)(3). Delivery date is estimated 30 days after purchase order award.
