Synopsis:

The U. S. Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistics Command (MLCLANT), Norfolk, VA is procuring Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Maintenance and Repair and Replacement Services to be performed at U. S. Coast Guard Group Key West, located in Key West, FL. The contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, parts, equipment, materials, supplies, tools and transportation necessary to provide all Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Maintenance and Repair and Replacement Services at U. S. Coast Guard Group Key West, located in Key West, FL. The contractor shall be a Florida State Certified Air Conditioner or Mechanical Contractor. The contractor shall be available for repairs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year, excluding Christmas. Casualty repair will be performed within 6 hours of notification to the Contractor by an approval Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR). The Base period of the contract performance will begin 1 July 2008 through 30 September 2008, with four one-year option periods. This requirement will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside competition. The applicable NAICS code is 238220 (Plumbing, Heating and Air-Conditioning Contractors) with a size standard of $13.0 Million. The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. A Firm-Fixed Price contract with Requirements Portion will be awarded. Interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in FAR Clause 52.232-33.
