Pursuant to the Hawaii Public
Procurement Code, Chapter 103D, Hawaii Revised Statutes, the State of Hawaii Department
of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism (DBEDT) Arts, Film,
Entertainment Division is soliciting bids for Air Conditioning Maintenance
Services.
Project
Description:
The CONTRACTOR shall furnish all
labor, materials, parts, tools, lubricants, refrigerants, equipment,
transportation and supervision necessary for the complete inspection and
maintenance of the air conditioning and ventilating equipment located at the
Hawaii Film Studio, 510 18th Avenue,
Honolulu, Hawaii 96816-4442.
SEALED bids shall be received up
to 11:00 a.m.,
Hawaii Standard Time (HST) on February
1, 2008 in the Administrative Services Office/Contracts,
DBEDT, State of Hawaii, No. 1
Capitol District, 250 South Hotel Street,
5th Floor, Room 504, Honolulu,
Hawaii 96813. Proposal documents may be obtained from that
office during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 11:30
a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.,
Monday through Friday, except for State Holidays. The contact number for this bid is

All potential bidders must register their company with the DBEDT
Administrative Services Office/Contracts to receive any addendum(s). The
solicitation documents are available in electronic format at the State s
website at www4.state.hi.us/bidapps and at the Department s website at www.hawaii.gov/dbedt/info/bidfiles.
All prospective bidders may attend a non-mandatory
pre-bid conference and site visit scheduled
for 9:30 a.m. HST on January 2, 2008 at the Hawaii Film Studio, 510 18th
Avenue, Honolulu, State of Hawaii. Attendance
is not mandatory, but potential bidders are encouraged to attend the meeting. Costs relating to attendance at the meeting
shall be the responsibility of the attendee and shall not be reimbursed by the
STATE.
All written questions must be submitted to
the DBEDT/Administrative Services Office/Contracts by 3:00 p.m., Hawaii Standard Time (HST) on January
10, 2008.
All bids shall comply with the General Terms and Conditions for Goods and Services Projects dated April 15, 1996 and must be submitted on DBEDT proposal forms. Offerors are encouraged to carefully read the
entire proposal document.
