| In accordance with Division of Purchasing Rule 60A-1.010 the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind requests contractual services from The Trane Company. The Trane Company was selected to perform service on the campus facilities new 80 Ton Rotary Screw Type Water Chiller (Air Cooled) to keep its warranty in effect since this equipment is manufactured by The Trane Company. These Trane systems and any modifications or repairs made to these systems must be performed by an authorized Trane technician in order not to void any/all warranties. Trane € s mainframe computer processing unit is located in the central plant complex € s boiler room. Only Trane control equipment can be utilized since this is proprietary equipment. To date the school has been satisfied with Trane € s performance of the maintenance program and Trane € s timely response to emergency calls placed by the Facilities Department. Prospective vendors should provide information regarding their ability to provide this service to John Connor at connorj@fsdb.k12.fl.us. Posting is effective 5/29/08 at 8:00 a.m. through 6/6/08 at 4:00 p.m. FAILURE TO FILE A PROTEST WITHIN THE TIMEFRAME PRESCRIBED IN S. 120.57(3) OF THE FLORIDA STATUTES OR FAILURE TO POST THE BOND OR OTHER SECURITY REQUIRED BY LAW WITHIN THE TIMEFRAME ALLOWED FOR FILING THE BOND SHALL CONSTITUE A WAIVER OF PROCEEDINGS UNDER CHAPTER 120 OF THE FLORIDA STATUES.
